Responsibilities:
• To
implement safety, health and environmental general duties as per OSHA Act 1994.
• To
monitor and observe Smart Card requirement for all offshore personnel.
• Lead and
supervise the day-to-day activities to meet the Quality and safety requirements
and resolve customers (internal & external) issues while identifying and
developing a partnership with them. Understanding and meeting their needs,
proactively communicating and delivering reliable and high quality services in
a timely manner is paramount.
• Compile
and disseminate information on HSE including legal requirements and ensure regular
analysis of STOP/ ACT programs for monitoring and reporting purposes.
• Implement
health risk assessment of exposed employees to noise, dust, hazardous
substances and workplace ergonomics. Record and report findings or observations
made by OH Doctors (OHD) relating to work-related injuries and illness.
• Conduct
regular review and compliance auditing at the plants to ensure compliance with
statutory and regulatory requirements and reporting on the adequacy, efficiency
and effectiveness of the HSEMS.

Responsibilities:
• Oversees
and monitors all Portokbali Supply Base operations to ensure all the operations
are executed in compliance with Company's, Petronas and Authorities procedures
& guidelines pertaining to Health Safety &Environment policies.
• Implement
appropriate strategies and procedures to safeguard the economic and safe
operation of all areas of services provided at Portokbali Supply Base i.e
warehouse, open yard, ports quaysides, bunkering facilities, helibase,
Passengers and goods jetties and inland transportation.
• Deal with
the local authorities relating to the movement of personnel and materials
handled at facilities under section custody. Such authorities are not limited
to Custom Department, Port Authority, and ImmigrationDepartment, Labour
Department, Harbour Master, Police and Marine Department.
• Constantly
monitors all warehouses’ activities that involve materials movements,
reconciliation and transfer to ensure traceability.
• Periodically
perform inspection of marine utility vessel to ensure its fitness and all
certification required by Marine authority are available and validated.
• Periodically

(for all contracts manage by Terminal Operation Manager) against actual expenditure to anticipate cost overrun and
requesting for additional budget if necessary.
• Monitor
Supply Base operation cost and implement cost reduction measures in all aspect
of warehouse and logistics activities.
• Appraise
Supply Base staff performance, provide guidance & motivation and prepare
training plans based on their Key Performance Indicator for their career
development and to enhance their competency in the activities undertaken.
• Review
Warehousing Operations Procedures and Guidelines, update it as and when
required and or deem necessary.
• Develop
an effective communication and coordination with other business functions for
the improvement and efficiency of support services provided.
